Second round of training in Sweden for people with special needs as part of the Stronger Together project

On September 26, 29, and 30, the second training session within the Stronger Together project took place at the Skäggetorp Center in Linköping, Sweden. The aim was to help people with special needs develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to prepare for employment or further education.

Using a project-based learning method, the training combined lectures, hands-on exercises, and group discussions. Participants learned how to write a CV and a personal letter, how to present themselves positively, and how to prepare for a job interview. Key topics also included equal rights, social competence, and workplace safety.

Participants shared their personal stories, discovered their strengths, and found new motivation for the future. As one participant expressed:

“I can do things – for the first time, I’ve thought positively about my own experiences.”

After the training, participants are now considering their next steps – continuing daily activities, starting workplace practice, or exploring studies at a folk high school.

This activity was supported as part of STRONGER TOGETHER, an Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 project co-funded by the European Union.
